On November 18 to 22 2019, the EIP Raw Materials Week took place in Brussels (Belgium). TARANTULA presented their brand-new corporate poster, which was visible all week on the screens in the hallway.
From November 18 to 22, 2019, the fourth edition of the EU Raw Materials Week was organized in Brussels. Academia, research institutes, private companies, NGOs, governemental agencies, … from all over Europe discussed the latest trends in Raw Materials, showcasing ongoing projects and creating ideas for the future of Raw Materials in Europe.
The TARANTULA project was well represented by various partners and colleagues, and by introductory poster about the concept. The goal of TARANTULA is to develop a toolkit of novel, efficient and flexible metallurgical technologies to produce W, Nb and Ta and hence unlock potential domestic EU resources of these specialty metals. he TARANTULA poster was projected on one of the screens in the central hallway of the conference during the entire week, along with the poster of several other EU projects.
On Friday November 22, 2019, the Tarantula project co-hosted a satellite event together with five other EU H2020 projects about “Public Acceptance and Social Impact of Mining and Mineral Recycling in Europe”.
